Nurses play an integral role in the healthcare profession and have a direct impact on patients experience. At the Fran and Earl Ziegler College of Nursing, we are committed to preparing nurses with the knowledge, skills and compassion necessary to improve health outcomes, promote health equity and elevate the nursing profession in Oklahoma and beyond.

In efforts to actively address the need for highly skilled nurses in our state, the OU College of Nursing has responded by revising the curriculum, increasing enrollment capacity, forging partnerships with local health systems, adding new advanced programs and expanding access to nursing education through five different locations across Oklahoma.
